Operation

EFOY Operating Panel OP3

Control your EFOY via the control panel, which can be connected directly to the fuel cell via a cable. View information about the current operation of the fuel cell, such as the average charge duration, the battery voltage, the current charging current as well as how much fuel is left in the fuel cartridge. Battery parameters can be adapted to special requirements. This panel has a 4.3“ touchscreen display and comes with a 3 metre data line, port doubler, DIN rail holder and screws.

EFOY Bluetooth Adapter BT2

The EFOY Bluetooth adapter allows you to control the fuel cell with the free EFOY app via smartphone or tablet. In addition to operation, you’ll find out many interesting statistics about the operation of your EFOY. This comes with a port doubler.

EFOY M28 Adapter

If you are using the M28 litre methanol cartridge, an adapter is required to connect the M28 fuel cartridge to the fuel cell or the Fuel Manager.

Accessories Provided with an EFOY Set

  • Brackets

    To ensure that your fuel cell stands firmly, you can attach the strap on the EFOY to the two brackets supplied.

  • Insulated Exhaust Hose

    The insulated exhaust hose (1.2 metres long) runs from the fuel cell, taking the water vapour and a small amount of carbon dioxide emitted by the unit, out of the installation space.

  • Service Fluid

    Deionized water which is needed for the chemical reaction of the fuel cell. Content: 100 ml.

  • Charge Line and Fuses

    The three-metre-long charging cable connects your EFOY Fuel Cell to the battery and continuously measures the battery voltage (fuse set included).

  • Off-Heat Bow OH3

    You can easily dissipate the waste heat of the fuel cell via the waste heat arc. Diameter: 10 cm

EFOY Fuel Cartridge Manager

The Fuel Manager (FM) allows you to operate several EFOY Fuel Cartridges with one EFOY. Depending on the model, two, four or eight fuel cartridges can be simultaneously connected. The Fuel Manager automatically switches from the empty one to the next full fuel cartridge and ensures a long self-sufficiency without user intervention.

  • Multisense

    Detects additional charging currents, electrical loads and temperatures of the battery and installation and provides all sensor data via the EFOY Cloud or the OP3 operating panel.

  • Data Line RJ12

    Data line to connect the EFOY fuel cells to the battery or to connect the fuel cells to the operating panel OP3 - Offered in 1m, 3m or 10m.

  • Port Doubler RJ12-2

    Adapter to simultaneously use the bluetooth adapters BT2 and the operating panel OP3 with the battery.

  • Off-Heat Tube OT3

    With the waste heat pipe, you can extend the waste heat arc to lead the heat outside. Tube for mounting the off-heat bow OH3. Length: 20 to 40 cm. Diameter: 10 cm

  • External Face Plate

    The outer panel is attached to the waste heat pipe as a closure element.

  • Mounting plate MP3 Set

    Mount your EFOY on the optionally available mounting plate. Dimensions: 440x165x16.5 mm (LxWxH)

  • SFC EFOY Fuel Cartridge Holder

    Fuel cartridge holder for M5 and M10 fuel cartridges.

  • SFC EFOY Fuel Cartridge Belt

    Belt to secure the fuel cartridge to the fuel cartridge holder

  • Router RUT240 Set

    Router Set to connect the EFOY to the Internet.

  • SFC Bus End Part

    End part to terminate the SFC Bus connection.

  • Interface Adapter IA1

    The interface adapter IA1 allows you to connect EFOY Pro fuel cell to a PC via the serial COM interface.

  • EFOY Fuel Sensor FS2

    The fuel cartridge sensor FS2 monitors the fuel level in the fuel cartridge and signals when it drops below a preset level.

  • EFOY DuoCartSwitch

    The DuoCartSwitch is used to connect two fuel cartridges to one EFOY fuel cell hose. (EFOY Generation 2)

  • EFOY Cluster Controller CC1

    The cluster controller CC1 is used to operate up to 5 EFOY’s in parallel, connect the fuel cartridge sensor and interface adapter IA1 to the EFOY and to control the EFOY via remote-on pins. (EFOY Generation 2)
