Internal Sales Associate
Fuel Cell Systems are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Internal Sales Associate to join our team.
This position is key to driving the sales and growth of our Fuel Cell Products division, with a focus on converting opportunities from new, existing, and lapsed clients across the UK.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about making a real impact. You’ll bring energy, precision, and a proactive approach to uncovering and securing new business.
Working closely with our internal sales team and Business Development Managers, you’ll play a central role in delivering a responsive and high-quality service to our customers.
About You
Experience/ Qualifications
Experience working in a outbound sales focused role preferred but not essential
Confident telephone manner and customer-focused attitude
Driving Licence preferred
Computer literate (Microsoft Office/PowerPoint/Excel/Word)
Qualities
Interest in Sales and Clean Energy
Demonstrate a strong drive to make sales and hit company targets
Self-motivated – works well independently and takes initiative.
Great communicator – confident, friendly, and effective on the phone and in writing.
Relationship-builder – naturally builds rapport and trust with clients.
Tech-curious – able to understand product specs and technical features
Able to quickly learn and navigate various computer systems and tools
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
About the Role
Role & Responsibilites
Proactively seek new sales opportunities through calls, linked in, emails, trade shows, and networking.
Utilise the CRM system effectively to manage customer interactions, track sales activity, and support the achievement of sales targets.
Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into active customers.
Understand and explain the technical features of EFOY fuel cells (e.g., capacity, runtime, applications).
Offer product recommendations based on customer needs and application.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat business.
Focal point for client questions, support, and follow-ups.
Address basic technical questions and coordinate with Service and Maintenance manager for advanced support.
Collaborate with the team to develop creative ideas to increase sales, explore new markets, or improve outreach.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date leads, quotes and opportunities on NetSuite.
