Hydrogen's Role in Land Transport Decarbonisation
We are pleased to see the launch of the Hydrogen Energy Association's latest report, "Hydrogen's Role in Land Transport Decarbonisation."
Our CEO Lee Juby contributed to the development of this report alongside colleagues from across industry. A big thankyou to Lucy Woodward for pulling this together.
The report makes a strong case for a technology-neutral approach to decarbonising land transport, recognising that different applications require different solutions. It also highlights the importance of coordinated investment in vehicles, infrastructure and policy if the UK is to capture the economic and environmental opportunities that hydrogen offers.
We are proud that our experience of delivering hydrogen refuelling infrastructure has helped inform this important piece of work.
We hope it contributes to a constructive debate about how the UK accelerates the transition to net zero transport.
The event highlighted the growing range of hydrogen-powered vehicles now available and being deployed such as Toyota (GB) plc's Mirai and Hilux FCEV alongside vehicles converted to run on hydrogen from Metier Technologies Limited and ULEMCo Ltd.
