Fuel Cell Systems Ltd can offer support for bespoke fuel cell projects with power ranges from a few Watts up to MegaWatts, using almost all fuel types (methanol, propane, natural gas and biogas).
We can also deliver solutions for onsite hydrogen production and hydrogen storage with feed-in to a fuel cell or other hydrogen consuming module.
We understand that, often, a stand-alone product won’t be ideally suited to the specific application, and/or will require integration with other site infrastructure. Our knowledge and experience can help you to down-select the best component parts - and then connect them up in the most simple and efficient manner.
Funded Programmes
Fuel Cell Systems Ltd are regularly approached to be a partner or sub-contractor within a funded programme. We find that our practical experience often adds a degree of confidence to planned installations by the consortium.

Domestic Installations
Fuel Cell Systems Ltd have regular enquiries regarding fuel cells for heat and power within housing. There are relatively few units in the 2-5kW range in the marketplace today and we usually find that the costs for these (currently low volume) products is too high to justify the outlay for most householders
The cases where we have moved on to full system design work tend to be where there is an additional reason to use fuel cell technology – either an interest in green credentials, or looking to demonstrate hydrogen technology, or indeed where planning applications are dependent upon true off-grid power.
