Key Features
HyFlow
-
This capability allows the HyFlow to refuel various types of hydrogen vehicles, from cars to buses, providing a flexible solution to different refuelling needs.
-
By utilising chilled hydrogen, the HyFlow can achieve fill rates at the upper end of the SAE J2601 protocol, ensuring quick and efficient refuelling.
-
The system employs controlled cascade filling from up to four separate hydrogen banks, significantly decreasing fill times and enhancing operational efficiency.
-
The HyFlow features a compact and accessible design, making maintenance straightforward and reducing downtime.
-
Up to four storage banks of 800 bar can be connected to the high flow, with an integrated control system that fills vehicles according to the selected refuelling protocol. Hydrogen production and compression can be supplied separately allowing for side expansion through larger storage and compression while maintaining the customer interface point.
HyFleet
-
The HyFleet is designed with usability in mind, featuring a simple touch-screen interface for easy operation. The system also offers remote monitoring and control capabilities, giving operators real-time access to refuelling data and system performance, which will be invaluable for optimising fleet operations.
-
HyFleet delivers high-capacity hydrogen refuelling, with safety as a paramount focus. It complies with global safety standards (J2601.2020) and includes built-in safety shutdown systems, ensuring the highest levels of operational safety.
-
HyFleet functions in a modular format, ideal for temporary or redeployable use in pilot programmes or as a fully static solution for long-term hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. This modularity makes it an excellent option for businesses that may want to expand their refuelling capabilities over time without replacing their entire systems.
-
HyFleet incorporates pre-chilling technology that cools hydrogen before dispensing it. This advanced feature enables faster refuelling times, minimising downtime and helping businesses maintain high operational efficiency, particularly in depot refuelling scenarios.
-
The system includes intelligent power management designed to operate within existing site power constraints, ensuring that it integrates efficiently with the rest of the site infrastructure without requiring significant upgrades. This feature reduces complexity and ensures a smooth installation.

What is Static Hydrogen Refuelling?
Static Hydrogen Refuelling refers to hydrogen refuelling stations that are fixed in one location, unlike mobile or modular refuelling units. These stations are typically installed at strategic locations such as public hydrogen refuelling stations, fleet depots and industrial sites.
They are designed to provide a reliable and continuous supply of hydrogen fuel to variety of hydrogen powered vehicles, including cars, buses, trains, and industrial machinery.

Meeting fleet managers’
operational needs
Fleet managers overseeing hydrogen-powered vehicles often face challenges like reducing downtime, ensuring operational safety and adapting to the growing size of their fleets. The HyFleet hydrogen refueller is specifically designed to address these concerns.
-
The HyFleet minimises refuelling times, reducing vehicle downtime and increasing overall fleet efficiency. For fleet managers operating in high-demand environments, this can make a substantial difference in daily operations.
-
As hydrogen-powered fleets grow, so does the demand for refuelling infrastructure. The modular design of HyFleet allows businesses to scale their refuelling capabilities without requiring substantial reinvestments in new infrastructure.
-
Remote monitoring and control features provides fleet managers with real-time data on refuelling operations. This information can be used to optimise refuelling schedules, monitor system performance and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the hydrogen refuelling system.
HyHaul
HyFleet is a UK factory built, series production refuelling system, designed by our team of engineers in West Berkshire to support the scale and reliability demands of heavy-duty vehicle operations.
It builds on the success of our HyQube system, a smaller, modular unit that has been deployed across the UK and Europe since 2019 for vehicle trials and small fleet use. It is tried and tested technology, and we’re proud to take it to the next level through this industry first project with HyHAUL Mobility.
Real World Case Studies
FCSL hydrogen refuelling technologies have been utilised by a broad range of customers to deliver reliable refuelling for vehicle trials and small scale fleet requirements.
